Zenzai

When you live in other country, you sometimes miss your traditional food, don't you? Nowadays, you can buy a lot of imported food at shops, but also many people devise similar taste using available cooking ingredients in the local. I relatively be alright without Japanese food, but I had an urge to have Japanese sweets. So I decided to cook Zenzai.

Zenzai is a Japanese traditional dessert; glutinous rice flour dumplings and a sweet porridge of Azuki beans.

I got a glutinous rice flour at an Asian food shop and azuki beans at a market yesterday. Voila! This is zenzai. Ah, nostalgia:)
