Festivals in Witham

The International Puppet Festival was held in Witham. Last year, we missed this, so we went to the town centre to see the festival this morning. There were some puppet shows, and a crowd of people around the stages. Also some big puppets moved around the shopping centres and street, we could enjoy watching them very much.

Also the Beer Festival has been held in the pub near the shopping centre, so people, from children to adults, enjoy the jollity and atmosphere. We tasted beer named 'A Drop of Nelson's Blood' and 'Puck's Folly'. They were really nice. The former was flavourful bitter but easy drinking, the latter was golden beer and taste was light. Each name was interesting and a nice thing in a pub is showing each alcohol percentage of beer. It's a bit helpful for me, because I can't hold my liquor.

On our way back home, we saw some garage sales. I think it's nice, not only Town Centre but also residents participate actively, so that people enjoy Witham.
