I visited my hometown Sendai after two and a half years. It was a strange feeling to visit there. There was no major change, but I realised that small parts have changed. It made me realise the passage of time, as if the world has gone on without me.
On the other hand, the sites in the neighbourhood where got great damaged by the earthquake were still vacant lots and some buildings were under construction. It made me feel that the time has stopped.
It was only a weekend visit, but I was happy to see my family and had a nice time.
