Yubikan and Garden
In 2003, I went to Yubikan and garden in Osaki, Miyagi with my family. It was an educational institution for children of the Date Toshichika family during the Edo period (1603-1868). The garden, designed by a family tea ceremony expert, is a typical Japanese style garden with pond. Yubikan was a historic site and had a very beautiful garden.
I found these pictures from my album. This building was destroyed and its gardens badly damaged in the 2011 earthquake. So I decided to post some pictures of my blog for a memory:)
