Reading

The other day, we went to Reading to attend a wedding party. It was the first time to visit this town for me. The red-brick buildings were more pronounced. I read the article about Reading in 'Metro'. It said 'Reading used to be all about the three Bs - beer, biscuits and bulbs. I knew later that Huntley & Palmers which originally based in Reading, was the largest biscuit maker in the world in the 1900's, employing over 5,000 people.

We explored the town in the moring until we caught a train.

There was a museum, but it was a bit early for open time. We might have known more about Reading if we went to it.

St. Laurence Church has existed for nearly 900 years! Gee. I became curious about two angels beside the door, holding emblem or something.

We walked into the backyard. There was a bit of mysterious atmosphere.

On our train back to London, the seats had already all been reserved or taken. From front and back doors, passengers got on a train, and we were all stacked. Fortunately a nice lady gave me her next seat. The big mouse had to stand near the family with a bouncing child...
