Morris Dance

The Medieval Fair was held at the end of June. The church was decorated with colourful flags and many stalls in the grounds. We visited there at the edges of the fair, but we could see inside the church and also English traditional dance; Morris dance. It's a folk dance accompanied by music. There were many little bells round the dancers' legs that tinkled pleasantly as they moved. It's a rhythmical step dance using sticks. They looked tired after dancing. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the local event very much.
