Walk The Essex Way - Stage6

STAGE SIX; BRADWELL - GREAT TEY
   *It's our own stage.

We started from Bradwell Church where we finished last time. It was a grey sky and sometimes light shower. To make sure of the route, a strong supporter 'a COMPASS' joined our walking this time. Even we have a map and directions, some places made us confused.

We've seen many animals such as horses, cows, sheep and pigs, and this time we met goats and alpacas.

It was a nice walk, not too hot and not too cold.

It was a pleasant walk. We've been to Coggeshall before, it's a really lovely village. We had a lunch at a picnic corner of the Grange Barn, which the National Trust owns. It's a great barn, is said to be one of Europe's oldest timber-framed buildings which was originally built in the 13th century. In this village, there is another National Trust building Paycocke's House and Garden nearby.

They are selling honey which they produced. It's temptation, isn't it? Even though we were on the way of WALKING ESSEX WAY, we bought a bottle of honey. There are many lovely spots to take photos.

We were a bit nervous about crossing A120, a very busy road. Cars and big trucks passed by constantly with high speed. One way or another we crossed the road and felt released. Hooray! We couldn't help showing smiles after the crossing. At that time the sun came out. It's better than heavy rain like before, but we felt hot.

Prize for crossing busy road, we saw beautiful purple full bloomed Echium Vulgares' field!!! It was like a heaven!

As we walked to Great Tey, dark clouds slowly appeared again.

We arrived at Great Tey Church which we visited before.
